The mission of the Vinyl Division of the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) is to provide our members with ongoing education in the diverse uses of plastics and to promote relationships within the community of professionals in the plastics industry. A key role of the Vinyl Division is to encourage the next generation of plastics professionals by providing technical conferences for education and support. We sponsor a yearly Vinyltech Conference with presentations on the most up to date knowledge in Vinyl as well as tutorials for new members and others wishing to brush up on their skills. We also award several scholarships each year to the children of division members and we support several plastics education related charities. The Vinyl Division is one of the top divisions in SPE and a frequent winner of the Pinnacle Award for excellence.

Our members have a wealth of plastics experience in areas such as extrusion, foams, PVC formulation, and plastics additives.
